Key West, Florida
If you enjoy nightlife, fishing, diving or snorkeling, history and
occasionally relaxing, Key West is the place for you. Old Town is a
great place to amble about, stepping in and out of art galleries and
cafes, or viewing the many landmarks and artists’ haunts. Take
a tour of Earnest
Hemingway’s home, the Audobon
House or visit the Heritage
House Museum.
Explore the history of pirates and treasure-hunters at the Mel
Fisher Maritime Heritage Society Museum. For the water lovers, Key
West is protected from the seas by the only barrier reef in North America.
The reef provides divers and snorkelers with breathtaking sights of
corals and a profusion of brilliantly colored tropical fish.
Later enjoy the ample nightlife or take a night cruise from one of
many ports. If you're not afraid to show your wild side, check out Fantasy
Fest in October -- the cities most popular festival. For more information
